MC Advanced does not give the following options: VoIP / Route Speed / Forced Idle (?) / Time Variation.

All in all, today's giveaway is a nice taster but really should come with a portable version. And more functions unlocked ;p

Application speed is the actual real end-to-end speed that a TCP application will achieve for the connection being tested. This will encompass all the inherent TCP flow control delays as well as quality invoked delays, such as packet loss. In other words it is an accurate measure created by a test process that ensures the data flow matches the requirement of the application such as a Video. The problem with Capacity Speed tests is that they measure the capacity of the pipe not the speed. The testing user is sometimes not aware of this and gets confused when the actual results of downloading a video or music file do not match the results of the speed test conducted earlier.

 The speed consistency measurement of 89% recorded for this test shows a relatively consistent data flow meaning that the same amount of data is flowing throughout the test.

 Timer clock resolution recorded for this test is accurate to 1ms. This means that the test results will be very precise, especially the service quality.

 Max delay of 131 ms was recorded which is high and may indicate data loss problems with the delay being caused by recovery. This will most likely cause the Speed Consistency to drop.
