OVHcloud acquires a quantum computer for R&D
« on: 15. March 2024., 18:26:44 »
OVHcloud announced last week that it purchased its first quantum powered machine.

Designed by French company Quandela, the MosaiQ computer is powered by a photonic processor.

OVHcloud aims to support its research and development department to experiment with a Quantum Processing Unit (QPU) based machine for different use cases.

Last summer it announced a plan to offer quantum-based calculation as-a-service through several emulators, including Perceval, the programming framework developed by Quandela.
