Incompatibility of McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.8i with Windows Update 1703

Those who are running MS Windows 10 OS and doing regular update would have received new Windows 10 update 1703. However, running McAfee VSE 8.8 with this update is not allowed as the new update no longer supports McAfee VSE 8.8 upto Patch 8. Although McAfee says Microsoft will release a compatibility update for VSE 8.8 no date is announced for the release. In the meantime McAfee has released Patch 9 which goes well with update 1703.
