Warning about Windows 10 upgrade

(1/5) > >>

molok:
Many people are maniacs for updates, and often this involves haste and problems, often dramatic.
Microsoft has always contributed to this anxiety with its updates and fixes, not least the last super-upgrade "Windows 10".

A problem encountered by many is an "eternal reboot" at the end of the installation, which does not allow you to boot normally the computer.

I find that the "loop reboot" problem is very common, due to hardware compatibily problems, first of all bios configuration as "memory protection configuration", If you want to upgrade your old PC, remember to create a good iso image first to avoid losing everything and verify that your computer is on the list of "compatible" with Windows 10 on the manufacturer's site.
A classic, free and good program is http://clonezilla.org/downloads/download.php?branch=alternative

I Love XP The More And More Each Passing Day.

Not Applying Any New Updates:

A - Because They Are Not Available Anymore, Or,

B - Refusing To, Because You Do Not Trust Them Anymore...

...What Is The Freaking Difference ?

Cheers.

Thank You.

I Read That Back When, But The Problem Is, I Completely Stopped Installing Newer M$ Updates Since The SUMMER Of 2009.

After What They Are Doing Now, To W7, W8.x And W10, My Longstanding 6 Years Mistrust Is More Than Justified.

PS.

I Was Forced To Manually Configure The Daylight Settings Again.

When Choosing Links, To The Official F1 Site Schedules, Use The Main Page - It Can Display Both The Local Sessions Time And The Visitor Timezone Conversions, As Well.

3 More Races To Go.

Just 9 More Race Wins, LEWIS.

GO, 44 !
