MAIL PROBLEMS.
« on: 21. May 2015., 18:19:25 »

Hello,

I Am Using OUTLOOK 2003 With POP3.

The Application Crashes And Freezes When In The Middle Of Mail Being Received, But Still Continues Working In The Background.

After A While, I Have To Abort It Using The TASK MANAGER, And Restart It Again And Again And Again.

Besides Being A Major Annoyance, I Think It Does What It Is Supposed To, In The End.

Any Clues Out There ?

Thank You.

Are You Talking About The Event Viewer ?

I Have Several Drivers For The Network Connection, And Will Try 1 By 1.

Thank You.

Yeah, event viewer. I would first try looking for Outlook-related entries.

" For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp ".

Unfortunately This Site Seems No Longer Work.

The Change Of Drivers Did Not Solve The Problem, Either.

Thank You.

Absolutely.

Since The SUMMER Of 2009 I Do Not Trust M$ Anymore, So, I Have Downloaded All The Major Files I Need, To Install Them OffLine Whenever Necessary.

Since APRIL 2014, My Distrust Became Amply Justified, Because *Normal Users* Are Now Blocked From Downloading Old Software Designed For XP.

They Can Not Download IE8, Anymore.

They Can Not Download IE7, Anymore.

Only IE6.

pos Company.

Thank You.

Ok that's good. Then, did you try to repair Office?

1. Open Outlook, click on "Help" (tab), start "Office Diagnostic"... and follow systems instructions.

or

2. Open Control Panel / Add or Remove Programs, find and click on Microsoft Office 2003, click on "Change", choose "Repair" option... and follow systems instructions.

P.S.

I'm 100% sure that this will work on Office 2007, but not so sure for 2003.

Yes, When The Problem Started, One Of The Very First Things I Did Was The Repair Option - No Luck.

Thank You, Guys.
