You won't win anything with this :(

It's just a fact: .info is bad, for some :(

Blocking them back... Won't solve anything ;p

...

Many fora block .info domains by default. Uphill battle I'm afraid :(

...

I'll contact them directly... I hope that the story will end up better than with TipRadar. ;D

Rebooting to safe mode did not solve it either :(

I know, not helpfull^^

But the "locked" registry-key looks like normal windows behavior. For example, the Properties of my VirtualBox Adapter are locked too. But deinstalling the VPN-Adapter from the GUI-Tool removes the registry entry complety....so yes. You have a problem ;)

And I know that sounds like "Have You Tried Turning It Off And On Again?"
(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nn2FB1P_Mn8) but have you tried to re-install the driver? I mean the function in the client tool.

D. sorry for OT, please ask them to unblock our domain (next quote is from your first post at VPN forum):

Silly idea: Did you try to remove it from safe mode?

Great idea! No :)

Will do once I need to reboot PC again. I'll be back in a few days ;p

Usually the easiest solutions are also the best solutions. ;)

Also think about HJT: http://scforum.info/index.php/topic,785.0.html

It seems that Softether was the cause of a BSOD hunting me for a long time. I always suspected a VPN application, now I know :( See: http://scforum.info/index.php/topic,8903.msg23656.html#msg23656

Anyways, I removed the software with IObit Uninstaller and manually went to my registry and searched for more traces, which I found but could not remove!

Also, removing the device "VPN Client Adapter - VPN123" fails. No error, but removing it will not work.

Seems to be in par with the fact that I cannot remove the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Enum\ROOT\NET\0000\Properties

It is TOTALLY blocked. I tried all regular stuff (taking permission, resetting permissions, removing inheritance, ...) but NOTHING. I also tried to remove the key with RegASSASSIN (https://www.malwarebytes.org/regassassin/).

So... Pretty please, developers... Is there an uninstall tool or *any* advise to remove this stubborn registry keys...?

Duplicate in:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\ROOT\NET\0000\Properties

Please help :)

... Peace!
