This is good stuff but gets affected or stops working once the system is affected with virus.

Never tried...cause Kaspersky anti-hacker do a good job!!

I use a combination of mcafee enterprise 8.7i and comodo firewall pro, works good, minimal performance impact considering the elevated protection, there could be something better, but i am very happy running this solution on 3 desktops and one laptop, no infections yet.

As I know, Comodo only have one Firewall version (this one, Free) and they call them PRO because it's part of "Comodo Internet Security Pro 2011" which cost $49.99/year...
