Hi Duar,

McAfee firewall version 8.5 isn't supported since 2003.: http://www.mcafee.com/us/support/support-eol-archive.aspx

Now it has been integrated into McAfee Host IPS.

If you're looking for some FREE and good solution, check these two FWs:

- Comodo FREE Firewall: http://scforum.info/index.php/topic,764.0.html

- ZoneAlarm FREE Firewall: http://scforum.info/index.php/topic,26.0.html

There's also a new Firewall-Only HIPS 8.0, I don't know much details though.

The three best free firewalls for Windows are

- Comodo Internet Security

- PC Tools Firewall Plus Free Edition

- ZoneAlarm Free Firewall

These are highly recommended. :)

I agree with you pal... I still use them. ;)

Can you imagine that McAfee stop support for last version in 2003.: http://www.mcafee.com/us/support/support-eol-archive.aspx

However, I'll probably use them on my Destop's XP till 2014.  O0
