Like I Said In My Last Post, If Everything Else Fails:

A - Reset The Motherboard CMOS Following The Instructions On Its Hardware Manual ( That Will Give You The Original Access To The BIOS ), And Then,

B - Completely Reconfigure The BIOS Setup, Again.

No. Only one NVIDIA GTX 750 card.

At this stage, I'm not sure that I should Reset the MB CMOS. If for some reason I can't access the BIOS then do I lose the use of my working System? If I could only get to BIOS then I could change things to my liking. In the past, I've changed the Booting order few times with total success.

Like I Said In My Last Post, ONLY If Everything Else Fails:

A - I Am NOT Saying For You To Update/Upgrade The BIOS Firmware - That Is A Completely Different Procedure,

B - You Are Going To Revert To The BIOS Settings That The Motherboard Had When It Left The Factory Assembly Line - That Is It,

C - This Process Is Simple And Thoroughly Described In The Motherboard Manual - Have You Read That Chapter, Yet ?

---

Probably, You Will Do It Anyway, If For Some Reason, You Have To Replace The Motherboard Battery Some Day...

After updating to Windows 10 Pro [Anniversary Update], I needed to access BIOS on my Desktop. I have done this many times without any problem in Windows 7 Pro. Now, when I repeat-press DEL key on Start-up, nothing happens and the PC hangs.Has anybody faced this problem and solved it?

Hi P. & Welcome back to SCF Community. :bih:

Regarding your problem, could you please provide us information about your hardware, especially Motherboard version ??

M/B: GA-965P-DS3P Rev. 2.0, BIOS Version: F7
---
OS: Windows 10 PRO

---

Hmmm... let's turn back to this track. ::)

As I see, you have Gigabyte's MB with latest BIOS version F7: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=2455

These MB's are "well-know" because of similar problems. :-/

So let's try with GB's Download Center: http://download.gigabyte.com.tw/

"GIGABYTE's Download Center allows you to quickly download and update your BIOS as well as the latest system drivers. A detailed list of all new drivers are displayed along with options for download. As well, you can view your BIOS, driver and system information all from here!"

Additional, if you don't success with previous advice, visit this link: http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/Utility.aspx
...after that, first install "APP Center" and after that appropriate utility for your MB.

Hope these will help ?!

Re: So let's try with GB's Download Center: http://download.gigabyte.com.tw/

1. Downloaded InstallOBJ from Download Centre.
2. Run InstallOBJ.exe > nothing happens.
3. Run Program in Compatibility Mode (Windows 7) > nothing happens
4. Run Program Compatibility Troubleshooter > Incompatible Program

1. Installed App Center > Run
2. There is a new version - update? > OK
3. Your PC ran into a problemand needs to restart etc. etc. > restart
4. Run Update again.
5. App Center is running in task Manager (initially with 25-29% cpu then 0% cpu) but nothing is showing on the screen (like the screens shown in App Center page of your reference).
6. Wait for few minutes then kill task.

Maybe you need to be more patient in this case, since application need some time to update itself... later you need to check for "recently installed Apps".

After that, IMO, since you have CPU: "Core 2 Duo E6600" install utility for "@BIOS (Intel 6/7 series)" - it's below the middle of page.

---

Alternatively, try to use some older keyboard... on this way:

1. Turn-Off PC
2a. Press and keep (permanently) DEL button
3. Turn-On PC (keeping DEL button)

(2b. if this doesn't work, repeat procedure with different buttons: F1, F2, F10, F12 & ESC)
