Print Screen, Taking Snap Shots.
« on: 27. September 2007., 11:34:09 »
Let me begin by saying this is very simple to do and has alot of uses.

First what we want to do is determine what we are wanting to take a snapshot of.
We will then follow steps below to get our snapshot into an image format.

1) Hold Shift or Ctrl and press Print Screen located by the F12 button.
2) Right Click any empty space on Desktop and, Scroll down to New.
3) Select Windows Bitmap Image.
4) Now Right Click this New Windows Bitmap Image and select Edit.
4) Now by pressing Ctrl and the letter V you can paste this snapshot into this blank Image.
5) Click File located top Left Hand Corner of this New Image, select Save As.
6) Now name your file and drop down the list box located under the name and choose a Format you would like to save it in.

I usually pick Jpeg to save my snapshots in, due to the fact it is a most widely excepted Image format that websites use. basically computer friendly.

If I wanted to save just a Window of a Snapshot, i would Press and hold Alt Key then press PrintScreen.

With Quick-Reply you can write a post when viewing a topic without loading a new page. You can still use bulletin board code and smileys as you would in a normal post.
