Title: Official Images and Specifications for Motorola RIZR Z10
Post by: Amker on 18. September 2007., 17:27:09
First information on Motorola RIZR Z10 surfaced a few days ago, when it appeared on O2's "coming soon" web page for a brief period of time. The device has just gotten official with some specifications coming from the producer and some images that offer a clear view on how the handset will look like.

The new information on the Motorola RIZR Z10 phone  model looks highly similar to those previously leaked.
The handset promises to be an improved version of the older Z8 model, as it looks almost identical with it when it comes to design features.

The quad-band GSM phone will indeed be a 3G-enabled one. The HSDPA connectivity allows data transfer speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps, a fairly evolved performance. Aside from this, the phone runs on Symbian 9.2 OS and the user can also rely on GPRS and EDGE technology. The phone also includes Bluetooth A2DP and miniUSB connectivity for enjoying wireless communication and best management of their personal content.

The 3.2 megapixel camera on Motorola RIZR Z10 is supposed to provide high quality captures to its user. There are high chances for this to be possible, as it also includes autofocus, 8x digital zoom and flash to make it come closer to the performances of a similar digital camera. The phone also includes 30 fps QVGA video recording capability. Additionally, there is also packed a VGA front camera, which will enable the user to place video calls.

The 2.2 inch display screen is capable of supporting a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, which will make it look great. Motorola RIZR Z10 has 90 MB of built-in memory and a microSD card slot too, for making sure that the user has enough data storage space for its personal files.

Motorola RIZR Z10 will start shipping in the fourth quarter of this year, which means that it will hit stores by the end of the year. O2 has already announced the phone on their website at a certain time for an October release. The slider will be available for a price ranged around EUR 400 when it starts shipping.
