Maybe we should create a new forum category called "Secure Surfing" or something close? Would be a great addition to what have already made into this site.

Don't know, I'll speak with Amker about your suggestion.

We'll also see opinions of other SCF Members in following reply's...

I assume SKYPE is relatively better than Yahoo Messenger and Windows Live Messenger in terms of security. How about GTalk?

Yes I agree, probably Skype have best Security protection: http://www.skype.com/intl/en/security/detailed-security/ at least they provide more information about security measures than other...

Anybody heard of GTunnel?

GTunnel is a very interesting project: http://www.internetfreedom.org/GTunnel

Quote
GTunnel is a Windows application that works as a local HTTP or SOCKS proxy server. After setting proxy to GTunnel in web browser or other Internet applications, the traffic will go through GTunnel and our server farm before it reaches its original destination.

GTunnel protects Internet users' privacy and freedom of speech in these ways:

    * User's IP address is hidden and user's Internet privacy protected. The destination servers see GTunnel server addresses instead.
    * Traffic content is encrypted with industry-strength algorithms between the user's PC and GTunnel servers so the local filtering/censorship systems will not see the content in clear-text format.
    * Blockade of target servers circumvented.

Probably, I'll test GTunnel in coming days.  ;)
