I'm not sure, but it look like that this version is still in BETA stage and don't support Win 7.

Anyway, take a look here:

http://www.mcafee.com/us/enterprise/downloads/beta/beta_mcafee/avengine/enginemainpage.html#tab3

http://www.mcafee.com/apps/downloads/security_updates/engines.asp?region=us&segment=enterprise

That's the site where  I downloaded the 5400-Engine. But it seems to be only the x86-Version. I can't inststall it on Vista x64 and 7 x64. As you see on the first link it's out of beta stage.
Now I've loaded the "Windows Engine Package for use with ePO" and manually extracted the x86- and  x64-files. It's alittle bit annoying but it works! An installer would be more comfortable of course.

For me, that's excellent solution...

But the other qusetion is: where can I download the x64-Engine? I need it for my Win7-Installation. And via Autoupdate it doesn't seems to be available.

Thanks (a bit late, as I was on vacation) for the download location of the 5400 scan engine!

I think that you'll find here a lot of interesting information ;) : http://www.wellesley.edu/Computing/TVD/as85/

The Scan Engine Version is 5400.1158. Well, that's for Antivirus. Does Antispyware use the same Engine or an different one?
Can I download the 5400 x64-Engine seperatly? The computer I'm using is not connected to the internet.

I don't think so, but it's easy to check. Simple right click on McAfee icon (next to clock), chose "About McAfee..." and you'll see which "Scan Engine Version" you have.

I'm using Virusscan Enterprise 8.7 Patch1 with Antispyware 8.5 with Sdat-Engine 5.4.00. Do I automatically have the lastest final engine (5.3.00) for Antispyware or do I have to download them seperatly (I don't use autoupdate). If not, where can I get it?
Another question where can I download Sdat-Engine 5.4.00 x64? I only found the x86-version. >:(

I just installed this from their site using the official version posted earlier.  So far no negative effects.

Is the McAfee Anti-Malware Engine the same as Engine 5400? While running the Anti-Malware, it stops and tells that McAfee is already using the latest engine.

If I understand you correctly this isn't same Engine, 5400 is still in BETA stage. I use them, but McAfee generally don't recommend using it until final version.  ;)

My mistake, it's official now (from last Week): http://www.mcafee.com/apps/downloads/security_updates/engines.asp?region=us&segment=enterprise

By the way, did you finally "kill" this "Advanced Virus Remover"??

Another question: What about "Advanced Virus Remover"? I have to uninstall it many times, every day, with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware.
Thanks for helping.

"Advanced Virus Remover" is rogue (fake) program. This program is Malware and you need to immediately remove them from your PC. If you need any help with this problem, please open your own Topic at SCF "PC Help Center": http://scforum.info/index.php?action=forum
