Don't worry pal, I was check your screen-shoots and everything is OK. ;)

Take a look carefully second pic "McAfee About" and you'll see "Buffer Overflow and  Access Protection........ 516" and below them "Installed Patches.... 4".

Your question/problem is related with first pic, and there is also everything fine since I see these message "Product running the latest BOC.DAT".

These message "Updates where not applied because packages were not in the repository:..." is related to one older Topic and you'll there find explanation (in short, it's "normal"...): http://scforum.info/index.php/topic,4108.0.html

You can check your Patch version on this way... simply make a right click with your mouse on a McAfee shield (near a clock), choose about VirusScan Enterprise..., after that you'll see "Installed Patches:" and your Patch number.

Anyway, latest one is No.4: http://scforum.info/index.php/topic,4584.0.html and you'll receive pass in a min. via PM. ;)

Hi E. and Welcome back to SCF.

My suggestion is to upgrade your McAfee to version 8.7.

Main reason is that version 8.5 will "lose" technical support in 2011. (End of Life): http://www.mcafee.com/us/enterprise/support/customer_service/end_life.html

Additionally, please check "older" Topics related to v. 8.7 and your question:

Hope these information will help you to decide??
