i've found out that 8.7i use less resources than 8.5i.
just installed it at celeron 1,8 Ghz (400 fsb) with 512mb of ram and 64mb graphic adapter (yes! very old model of computer) and it run smoothly, not like the 8.5i (with patch 6). is it because the 8.5i's patch that pretty old or because the new engine that makes the 8.7i feel 'faster'? i dont really know.
im using xp sp3 as operating system.

8.7I seems to be very simular to 8.5I ( setup rules wise ) , of course it runs on Windows 7 and make sure that you apply Patch 4.  That made a significant difference in processor cycles especially when the engine and/or Dat us being updated
oh is there a new patch?
i've to download it later then

I have VS8,7i p1 installed on a Win7 64bit system. I got a message that the AntiVirus tool is not fully integrated in Win7. Is this fixed in the later patches?

I think that you need at least Patch 2 for this error... you have latest one Patch 4 at SCF. ;)
