What would you do to get your hands on Apple's iPhone 4?  Here in the US it's just a modest investment to purchase one from AT&T or Verizon if you don't mind dealing with a two year contract. But apparently its a different situation in other countries. Indeed, if this next story is true, one person wanted to give up something very important in exchange for the latest version of Apple's iOS-based smartphone.

The Korean Herald has a story that is based on a Chinese language news sources: http://www.koreaherald.com/national/Detail.jsp?newsMLId=20110622000581
It claims that a teenaged girl in the Guangdong section of the nation posted a message on the Weibo web site (which is apparently the Chinese version of Twitter). The young lady said that it was her "dream" to get her hands on an iPhone 4 but apparently her dream is being kept from her by her father. She has now offered to give up her virginity to anyone who who will buy her an iPhone 4. The story claims that her message has been getting lots of criticism from others who obviously don't believe that offering a person' virginity for a product is a good thing.

This is not the first time that someone wanted a product from Apple so badly that he or she was willing to part with something truly important. Last June it was reported that a 17 year old Chinese boy got his kidney removed in order to get the money to purchase Apple's iPad 2 tablet. The boy's health took a hit as a result of the operation.
