McAfee Virtual Technician indicates there is patch 3 for 8.8. Does anyone know how to get it?
Don't see any patch on ePO software manager... are you using the beta or release version?

I've been using VSE 8.8 in my system for a few weeks and all I can say is that Its a great update, what I liked the most was the final inclusion of the antispyware module into the software..
Booting time decreased a bit, but the integrattion with Win7 is what I enjoy the most (no more erroneous AV disables on Windows Activity Center).

The Only thing is a bug in ePO 4.0 in which the default process scan directives won't show... so I have to manually change that in every system... (glad that in 8.7 I had allowed the users to modify settings)

Hi samker,

I don't have any problems with SCForum, nor with my VSE 8.8, i was just a little annoyed by VSE , but anyways, i just added the nba2k11.exe to the exceptions list.

Ok pal. ;)

hi guys, i've seen one site got this 8.8 w/c says retail

im having problems with it, im not sure if its a false positive,
VSE keeps on detecting a new poly win32 on nba2k11.exe

Hi wudz3, so sorry but I don't understand what's a problem (probably because of my bad English)...  :-\

Do you have problem with SCforum (since I also use version 8.8 and everything is Ok) or you have problem on your PC where you have installed 8.8 ??

If you have problem with SCforum, please send me mentioned link via PM and I'll make a double check. ;)

Thanks!

I don't think so F., this is official link...

I'm 99% sure that this (BETA 1 - early phase) release is only for registered McAfee testers, hope some of SCF Members will have one "copy" for us. :)

McAfee beta Lab: http://beta.mcafee.com/

i was 100% sure :@ but was strange that nowhere had the beta .... just  so limited people they gave chance to test, but the best is; they released the final version so early too on this time ...
