There You Go.

If You Find The Patience To Read It All, Start By Reading The Comments - All Points Of View Should Be There.

Talking, Again, About Missing Variables, **HONK** Seems To Be The Keyword Here ( Or Lack Thereof ).

Cheers.

True Or False ?

www.theepochtimes.com/n3/2274480-facebook-shut-down-ai-after-it-invented-its-own-language

---

It's more like telling lies about the shutdown, what happened is that the AIs "optimized" the language to something we humans couldn't comprehend, therefore busting the experiment. Since it was busted, Fb couldn¿t do anything aside from stopping it since the data was now useless

I agree with J., IMO, somethings went wrong... and only they can do is to use this fiasco for the Marketing/Promotional purpose... & They did success with that!

However, this story will alive forever with Sci-Fi, Star Trek, and etc. Fans. ;D

P.S.

Your Optimism Seems Well Founded, Then.

In My Case, I Just See The Usual PIXAR HOLLYWOOD Hype, Really.

( No Insulting Intentions, Whatsoever )

I Do Not Know What Is Your Experience As An IT Programmer, But, As I See It, The Missing Variables Are Just Too Damn Many.

As I Said, I Will Get Me A Comfy Chair While Waiting For Whatever The Likes Of GOOGLE Shoot Out Of Their Glorious Exhaust Pipelines.

Cheers.

Intelligent Devices Thinking By Themselves Without Any Human Intervention, Whatsoever ? - I Will Wait For Them On A Comfy Chair, Thank You.

I Will Never Be An IT Scientist, But As Far I Am Concerned, Lots Of People Have Seen I, ROBOT ( My Favorite Movie, Ever ) 1 Too Many Times.

This Kind Of Hype Is What HOLLYWOOD Calls A Wet Dream - Lots Of Money Rolling In.

Cheers.

( Another Opinion I Read Somewhere )

( March 25, 2014 At 11:30 PM )

XP's #1.

I Will Not Be Changing Over Before Support Ends.

I Like XP, Never Had Problems With It And I Can't Really Be Bothered To Pay For Upgrading For Practically No Reason.

I've Been Using XP For 12 Years, 6 Of Them On This Very Computer That Still Runs Modern Games Decently.

I've Never Had Much Trouble With MalWare, Even Without Anti-Virus/MalWare Software.

When Support Ends, I Might Consider Getting Anti-Virus And MalWare Programs.

But I Say, Bring It On.

I Don't Have Much Worth Hacking Anyway, So I Say Bring It On.

If Anyone's That Desperate For Porn, I Don't Mind Sharing My HardDrive >:-).

Well, I can undestand MS trying to avoid creating a new WinXp and being more agile but... Maybe they could have begun with no more drivers?

IMO, this option for Free upgrade to v10 isn't bad... at least it'll increse EOL for 2+ Years in comparation with v8: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/lifecycle

FYI, like you, I'm still using XP & v10 (which works pretty good).
