Yes, Patch 8 is the newest release for McAfee antivirus that works on Windows 10.
But keep an eye for a new release.
As this is the time they release new patches for McAfee.

Hi @dsrkrishna4u,

McAfee VirusScan Enterprise (VSE) 8.8 Patch 7 and earlier are not compatible with the Microsoft Windows 10.
Support for the Windows 10 is included in VSE 8.8 Patch 8 or later.

How do you go about getting patch 9?

Windows 10 Update 1703 insists uninstalling of McAfee Virus Scan 8.8 Patch 8 to continue with the update. Hence, run windows 10 update 1703 only after applying patch 9.  :bih:

Patch 8 works fine on the 1607, but it has a problem in the installation, and it's that it can take many minutes or even hours to finish the installation, but then it works fine. Now for version 1703 if only the patch 9 necessarily works.

It supports perfectly this patch the windows 10 version, correct operation and also very stable.
It does not update automatically if you do not indicate it in the configuration.

Forgive for my English.

After the latest update of Windows 10 with build 1607 you need to use Patch 8 to make VirusScan 8.8 to work and bee supported!
So for today you need Patch 8.
