Hello,

X - Disk Image File Types With Bootable Information Included,

A - Currently The Most Common ( X ) Is .ISO,

B - .IMA, .IMG And .IMZ Were Also Former DOS Legacy ( X ).

Is There Any Free Software Capable Of Converting Any ( B ) Into ( A ) ?

Thank You.

The File S(Y)S.COM Does Everything I Need, But Demands These 2 Conditions :

A - ( Y ) Must Be Of The Version Of The Intended OS ( Which Is Not A Problem, Because I Have All The Files Of That OS ),

B - ( Y ) Must Be Already Running Under That Specific OS ( Which Is My Only Problem, Because I Need To Install The OS From Scratch And I Do Not Have That OS Already Running ).

Thank You.

From what I could find, you'll need format.com at the very least, perhaps with a boot DOS floppy in order to format the partition as DOS booteable and then transfer the basic files over.

Sorry, Again,

X - Brand New MSDOS6.20 Operating System Installation

A - The Complete ( X ) Contains Dozens Of Files, But,

B - The Most Basic ( X ) Contains Only 3 Files - IO.SYS, MSDOS.SYS And COMMAND.COM, In This Very Specific Order ( I Have These 3 Files ),

C - Newly Formatted HDD.

Without Having A Previous ( X ) Already Installed, Is There Any Software That Can Make A Special "Copy" Of ( B ) Into ( C ), Allowing ( X ) To Be Bootable From There ?

Thank You.
