Topic: Microsoft fixes reboot loop bug with Vista SP1 update

It may have taken almost two months but Microsoft has finished up fixing a bug that caused Vista users quite some problems. Even before Vista's Service Pack 1 was released, one pre-required update, codenamed KB937287 and officially dubbed Servicing Stack Update (SSU) ended up annoying the heck out of some people as it caused the system to go into an infinite reboot sequence.

The problem with the update, although claimed to not affect many people, 'convinced' Microsoft into taking the update down and not making it available through Automatic Update while a fix was found. Fast forward to today and the Redmond company is set to re-release the Servicing Stack Update, all fixed and ready to be downloaded.

Also today, Microsoft is set to release 8 new patches to fix problems found in Windows OSes and Office suites.
