I've never faced this issue before so I don't know what to do yet. Yesterday, trying to access amazon.com but my Google Chrome browser doesn't let me in.
Here is what it shows:
Your connection is not private

What should I do to get rid of this irritating issue?
This problem is related to SSL certificate. When you browse HTTPS websites, your browser, in this case, Google Chrome, will check and validate whether the SSL certificate is valid. In case it's valid, then the HTTPS connection will go through. Otherwise, this error occurs.
There are several causes can create this issue, such as:
- invalid date and time on your computer
- antivirus block HTTPS connections
- web browser's extensions block HTTPS connections
- a few bad cookies and cached files on your Chrome browser
- expired SSL certificate
Firstly, let's try to narrow the issue. You can open another web browser like Mozilla Firefox to check if this error also occurs on it or not. If your Firefox browser can load Amazon.com normally, then the issue definitely comes from your Chrome browser. In this case, you can try to disable strange extensions, clean up cookies and cached files.
The opposite, if your Firefox browser can't load the website, there is something goes wrong on your Windows PC. In this case, you should check again the date & time of it, turn off antivirus temporarily to check.
