FROM: http://www.supereasy.net/en/eur/lpa/RescueDisk?utm_content=rescuedisc%2Fen&utm_medium=go&utm_source=sez1cb%2F8099

SuperEasy BackUp Rescue Disc

The rescue system is intended for two kinds of situations:

To restore a backup to your main hard disk. This cannot be done while your normal system is running, so you need the rescue system for that.

To restore a backup when your system is so damaged that it does not start anymore.

Important: The rescue system can only be used to restore image based backups at the moment. I.e. complete backups of one or more hard disks.

Creating the SuperEasy Backup Rescue Disc

To create the SuperEasy Backup Rescue Disc you need to follow these steps:

Download the contents of the CD (ZIP file):

For computers with the Windows 8 logo or UEFI firmware: http://supereasy.downloadcluster.com/supereasy/0023/rescuedisc-ubuntu_13.04-sezrs-64bit.iso

For all other computers: http://supereasy.downloadcluster.com/supereasy/0023/rescuedisc-ubuntu_13.04-sezrs-32bit.iso

MIRROR for BOTH: https://app.box.com/s/1at32qe98zq7dg4zvuru

Extract the downloaded file (supereasy_rescue_disc_archive) by right-clicking on it and selecting "Extract All". Then follow the instructions in the window that opens.

A file called "supereasy_rescue_disc.iso" should now have been extracted. It contains the rescue CD data.

Burn the downloaded CD data to a CD. It is very important that you use a burning function that specifically mentions that it is intended for ISO files or disc images. Do not simply burn the downloaded file as a normal file to the CD. Then the CD will not work.

Windows 7 or higher: You can simply right-click on the file and select "Burn disc image" from the menu.

Older versions of Windows: You can download a free burning software that burns the CD in the correct way from here: https://www.ashampoo.com/en/eur/pin/7110/Brenn_Software/Ashampoo-Burning-Studio-FREE

Using the Rescue System

The rescue CD is bootable. That means that your computer can start directly from this CD. Follow these steps:

Insert the CD into your CD/DVD drive.

Restart your computer.

The next steps can be a little different from system to system.

In some cases the rescue system will automatically start.

In other cases a message like "Press key Enter to boot from CD" might be shown during startup. If that is the case then quickly press the corresponding key on your keyboard. You will only have a couple of seconds to do that before the message vanishes. If you press the key in time then the rescue system will start.

If the rescue system does not start and you do not see any message like the one mentioned above then you need to configure your system manually to start from CD. Unfortunately this can be very different for different kinds of computers. If you do not know how to configure your computer accordingly then we recommend consulting a computer expert.

It might take a while for the rescue system to fully load.

Once the rescue system is fully loaded it will ask you to select your language, country and keyboard type.

After that the rescue system is ready for action. It will look and behave very similar to the restore function in our normal software. You will get on-screen explanations and help for each step directly in the rescue system.

So yeah, Karma!
