With computer security on the minds of more people lately due to an increase in high profile cyber attacks, PC processor maker Intel is preparing to reveal details of a new kind of security technology that will include input from software maker McAfee. Venture Beat reports that during Intel's conference call with investors on Wednesday the company's CEO Paul Otellini announced that Intel is working on the new technology which will mix both a hardware solution with software provided by Intel's McAfee unit:

Intel recorded a total of $13.1 billion in revenue for the quarter that ended on June 30.
