Please help,
I used the LG promotion (
http://scforum.info/index.php?topic=8315.0) to upgrade my account to a very nice 50GB (thank you!)
To my surprise I got an email that I can share this wealth with friends!
Great! But... Both the link in the email as in the webportal for box.com bring me to non-responding page:
https://app.box.com/vpromo/invite?utm_source=in_app_marketing&utm_medium=link&utm_campaign=vpromoIt appears that your firewall may be blocking Box or you are encountering an error.
Please contact your IT administrator to configure your firewall to recognize all sub-domains of .box.com, .box.net, .boxcloud.com and .boxcdn.net. The ports used on these domains are 80 and 443.

If that does not resolve the issue, then please submit a support ticket at

But I do not use firewall software and I even got it on a Mac laptop at my friend's place... At home I use Chrome & Windows.
What could be going on? Any help greatly appreciated!

Thanks for contacting Box Support. I’d like to take a closer look at the issue you described, so would you mind sending me a screenshot of it?
Here’s how:
For PC:
Press the "Prt Scr"" key
Open a Microsoft Paint document and paste the image into the program
Save this file and attach it to your reply
For Mac:
Press the "Command" key, the "Shift" key and the number "3" key at the same time
Attach the image file that appears on your desktop to your reply

Hello Ruben, no screenshot needed... Happens on many browsers, systems and even ISP's...
When I log in to my account, I get greeted with:
"Give Co-Workers Free 50GB Box Accounts
Now that you have a 50GB Box account at no cost, pass it on and invite your co-workers to join Box as well! They'll receive the same 50GB of file sharing and storage on Box for free. Give 50GB now."
If I press that link (Give 50GB now), I will go to the following URL:

Thank you for your message and I am sorry for your inconvenience.
Please let your friend or co-worker create a free personal account from
www.box.com/signup and just let us know if he is done signing up so that we can manually increase his file storage to 50GB file storage.
Pleas let us know for us to assist you in this issue.

Unfortunately, the link is not working for the moment because there might be a possible known issue but we have reported this already over to our higher support. We are just providing you the workaround so that you can have your co-workers set up a free 50GB personal account.
