Topic: The Best AntiVirus ?!

I'm a long time AVG free edition user and I have not had any problems. It's a bit clunky from time to time and the last upgrade (8.0) was very invasive and installed some crap on Firefox which I was very unhappy about, but past that it's been working well enough. I'd recommend it for anyone running Windows without any very serious security concerns.

My work computer uses McAfee 8.7 (8.5 was a dog and slowed machine).  At home I use AVG free and it is low on resources usage and protects well. I also hit all kinds of "risky" sites!

Maybe its old but it serve me well in combination with Super Anti Spyware free edition.

Not to mention that my system does not feel its there at all. Small and effective.

Avira, Avast.
The best paid AV is:
Nod32.

Well, i have no experience with antivitus except nod 32 and PCMAV (my local antivirus), so i don't know the other antivirus performance. But nod 32 makes me satisfied enough by killing win32.sality attack in my system. So, i choose it as best antivirus
