I used VirusScan 8.5 for sometime, but now I'm using Avira Antivir.
Performance issues caused by VSE was downside, though it was working fine till now.

Oh well, I still give VirusScan a vote, though I prefer Avira for my computer

  For my part using McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.5i excellent work for me, but now with windows 7 am testing nod32 v 4 and does not give me problems even seems lighter

have you also experienced undetected virus/malwares even using their latest defs?
i have exeperienced it for almost a month, were already send sample of the file and replied us with extra.dat but still it wont come up to detect it after their major daily updates...
