I use CCleaner along with Ad-Aware and spy-bot. all in that order since it sometimes makes a difference in how long it may take to clean and remove.

I use spybot, but never in resident state or taskbar. Anytime there's suspision of any spyware, I update spybot and clean the system.

otherwise the system is cluttered and too slow.

I'm using McAfee Enterprise + AntiSpyware Enterprise 8.5i v8 + McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention 6.1.0 + CCleaner

I agree with Malwarebytes. I also have alot of respect for CA Antispyware (formerly CA Pest Patrol) as it has detected more than most anti-spyware applications have, it has got me out of alot of messy situations

In my opinion and experience both Apps are excellent...
