Jennifer Lopez is every inch the diva. In fact, she's more like a walking mystery to me, seeing that somehow I always imagined her quite the uptight, strictly "I eat healthy, my body has natural curves" type. But seeing a list of some of the things she eats, I sort of changed my mind – not to mention realised why the entire media proclaimed her to be pregnant last week.
In fact, turns out that what looked like a baby bump was in fact a not-so-flat belly. Jennifer is currently in London promoting her Spanish language album and her upcoming "Brave" album. And the only reason why we managed to sneak a peak into what the latino diva likes to eat is because before arriving at the Dorchester Hotel she faxed over a list with some of the well-earned creature comforts she likes to enjoy when she is away from home. Look at the list bearing in mind the fact that The Dorchester is an
exclusive hotel with excellent restaurants and bars on the premises. But I guess she simply cannot live without some of the
things she likes to enjoy at home.
Among which:
2 humidifiers
2 Fans
Room temp must always be at 80F
2 Extension cords and power adapters
Candles by Jo Malone in Lime or Grapefruit
3 Wardrobe racks with hangers
Steamer, iron, ironing board
White or red roses
Soft baked chocolate chip cookies
Sour cream and onion chips
Regular chips
Fruit platters
Veggie platters
Plain M&Ms
Sunflower seeds
Ritz crackers
Spicy Brown Mustard
Mayo
Penta or Smart water (room temp)
Caffeine Free Regular Coke
Diet Coke
Redbull
Coors Lite (bottled only)
Gatorade
This list is not complete, of course – but that just got me thinking at how divas like to organize their life. Take Britney for example – the media is on her tail as soon as she buys an icecream or a packet of Cheetos, while J. Lo – who's not as annoying as Brit but does tend to get on the wrong side of many paparazzi once in a while – gets away with not being laughed at for all this stuff which is, to say the least, a bit ill-assorted.
Which leads me to believe that there's some sort of food and drink conspiracy at work somewhere out there – either that, or someone is trying hard to sabotage the Cheetos brand. But I think that just to be on the safe side and not be accused of picking on Britney too much (ha!), we should make just a little bit of fun of J.Lo's long list of not-so-healthy-not-so-fit-for-a-diva stuff. Just a lill' bit.
