I have not played with patch 9 yet, but I am assuming on Windows 10 Creators update you can still install VSE 8.8 patch 8 and then update to patch 9, or does it block installation of anything lower the patch 9?

Yup, simply apply P9 on already installed VSE with P8.

No problème , install VSE880P9 with full version after remove VSE880P8 before your mail!!

Reinstall 5900 engine and dat And all OK

Thanks for the patch works great... Please let me know if anyone has the re-packaged version with patch 9... Unfortunately if you have already updated to Creators edition (which uninstalls everything prior to patch 9), you need the re-packaged installer that includes patch 9 to reinstall....
