help, my window xp got the Trojan-Downloader.Win32.Agent.bjxm

my window xp got the Win32.Monster.fx virus...how can i get rid of it....i have tried kaspersky and hijackthis programs, but i always get to a point where i don't know where to go next....please help...thanks

1. Download and Run Full Scan with Microsoft Removal Tool: http://scforum.info/index.php/topic,4510.0.html

2. Download, Install, Update and Run Full Scan with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware: http://scforum.info/index.php/topic,2201.0.html

3. Update your AntiVirus and also run Full Scan

my pc appears to "work better"....but i'm not completely sure that the virus is gone.
