Hi Sam,
Good to be back. What version of AntiSpyware would you recommend with the latest 8.7 version patch2. Patch 1 has memory leaks issue and was fixed by patch 2. And by the way, do you recommend doing a complete removal of older version by using McAfee removal tool with no trace and do a clean install. Got your email about the update to a newer version, can u please send the PW for patch 1 and 2 please.

You just need to run this Upgrade and (probably) everything will be resolved with this "memory"issue...

My preferred AS are: MalwareBytes, SUPERAntiSpyware, Spybot S&D...

Is this update only for Patch 1?
by the way I 've McAfee.VirusScan.Enterprise.v8.7i.Patch.1-DVT; it's 122 MB' How can I install Patch 2?
Is that right to install "McAfee.VirusScan.Enterprise.v8.7i.Patch.1-DVT" and then install Patch 2 update? or what?!!

Hi Sam
I think one needs to do a clean install to have 8.7i. Remove the previous version by using McAfee removal tool and then have 8.7i followed by patches 1 and 2. Configuration setting will be retained if just patched rather than doing a clean install from 8.7i patch1 and then 8.7i patch2. Please let know.

I'm 99% sure that Patch 2 is cumulative (it include all fixes from earlier verison 1) so you just try to "run" Patch 2 and let us know is everything Ok.
