Black Ops was this year's most downloaded PC game and fifth most downloaded Xbox game on Bit Torrent for 2010.

According to TorrentFreak, The Xbox 360 version of Black Ops was downloaded 930,000 times while the PC version was downloaded an astounding 4,270,000 times. This beat out some big name PC games from this year including Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Mafia 2, Mass Effect 2 and Starcraft 2. These games took second, third, fourth and fifth place on the download charts with each pulling in over 3 million downloads for the year.

Besides holding the record for the most downloads in 2010, Black Ops also holds the record for the largest number of copies sold in a 24 hour period. The game beat out its predecessor Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 by selling over 7 million copies of the game worldwide. When Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 held the record it had sold 4.7 million copies worldwide in a 24 hour time period.
