Hello and welcome to SCForum,
 Problematic extensions may cause crashes. Start in Firefox Safe Mode, which disables all extensions, to help determine if an extension is causing the problem.

Please clarify, you are using Internet Explorer or Firefox?

You can reinstall the firefox. By the way, you can install the firefox in another path.
