IMPORTANT: 128bit Technologies recommends only installing the fonts you plan on using. Installing a large number of fonts at once can* slow down your computer.

Copy Paste:

Don't have Facebook? That's ok, we haven't forgotten about you. Just click the 'Get It Free' button and fill out a quick survey to claim your 100% discount!

Today's 1000 OpenType Fonts discount promotion includes the following license types:
Windows Version ($99) ($0) Download MIRROR: box
Mac Version ($99) ($0) Download MIRROR: box

When you get it through BdJ you will receive a serial key for the license. The license isn't required to use the Windows fonts. The download is just that: fonts. BUT you will not be legally covered when you use these fonts... For Mac it is a different story. I found a png file that contains all fonts, but I could not extract that file without a key. The archive appears to be password protected. Apple fucks ;p But I'm working on it... So maybe I'll upload them later :)

... Karma!

* WILL slow down your computer. In fact, many fonts is one of the main reasons for a slow booting computer (Office...). Also see some interesting links in the reply... Or start googling right now: http://goo.gl/wX1F7Y

Windows, Fonts & Performance. What is true, what is false? You decide ;p

Some more details... As promissed in the original article

--> http://lifehacker.com/5821865/top-10-ways-to-speed-up-windows-boot-time
Since the dawn of time, Windows has loaded fonts at startup and slowed down the boot time. This is less of a problem than it used to be, but it can still slow you down a bit. Windows 7 loads over 200 fonts at startup; even more if you've installed Microsoft Office. Chances are, you use very few of those fonts, so you can hide them to speed up that process. In Windows 7, open up the Fonts folder from the Start Menu's search box, and check off all the fonts you don't need. Then click the "Hide" button in the toolbar. This way, if you ever want them, you can bring them back, but Windows won't load them at startup. Note that just removing a few fonts probably isn't going to make a noticeable difference—you'll probably need to get rid of a few hundred. That said, you might have hundreds more fonts installed than you realized, so that isn't as ridiculous as it sounds.P

This article claims to debunk lots of myths. Some claims in this article I believe, but even then I often do not concur with his conclusions. Up to you ;p
Second part of the article makes more sense (https://blog.tune-up.com/myth-buster/true-or-false-10-tweaks-to-speed-up-your-pcs-boot-time-part-2/), but still. His numbers are SO constant - can't be true. Just test yourself. Without changing anything, measure cold boot, measure auto-reboot cycle and measure a cold boot when hardware is warm... You will see many fluctuations, if only because Windows itself keeps optimizing... Or testing ;p
