Two days ago my system was invaded with a virus called "virusprotectpro". After removing it, my "fraud monitoring is on" disappeared from internet explorer. I have tried  using "tools" and enabling anti pfishing to no avail. The tool menu says it is enabled but I cannot get the bar to appear. I have norton 360 and it wont fix it either.I am at a loss as to what to do next. Any help would be gtreatly appreciated.

Again, thank you.

How about reintalling norton 360?

Well what i think is that the virus some-how overwrote some registery entries & made it dissappear, but i belive thats IT, maybe it's internet explorer that isn't showing it's working, but it is!

When you post the log we'll look for unused or missing registry entries & start-up files so we we'll know what's the problem?

Please follow this simple steps and you will understand all process:

1. Run HijackThis

2. After opening, chose first option "Do a system scan and save logfile"

3. Next step is to select & copy that log file to your next post. For help I'm just make one "HijackThis (Test) log" at the Trash (go now and see how it look). You will have something similar from your PC, just provide that to us at the same form.

I hope that you understand now, I'll waiting you.
