Do as you preach... Feedback!
Ok, as you might remember, I had a lot of problems with my phone...
1. certificate error... After setting an option back on my wifi router, I got two more errors and disconnects. Both not followed by successive disconnects. So far so good! I'll change options once more to get to the bottom of this, because... See 2.
2. virii! While I was protected by Avast (Windows/Android) all the way and I should have been clean, I'm now almost certain I wasn't. What I did was "just" installing different antivirus programs to let them scan and then I'd install the next, and the next, and, ... These were my initial choices:
Dr. Web v7 Light first, then McAfee (trial), Kaspersky, AVG Free, Creative Apps' Antivirus Free, AVL Pro App, Norton Mobile, 360 Mobile Security, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and just to be sure I finished with Avira Free - which came tested very good. See Perfect Scoring Android Antivirus Programs here:
http://scforum.info/index.php/topic,8519.msg21947.html#msg21947 .
I only found this list after all my scanning had been done.
All problems were solved after all these scans (except 2 more certificate errors). Problems remaining was: see 3
3. lock screen is very sluggish. This problem became less but remained a problem. I could improve it a little more by removing NotifierPro from Security - Notification Access... though.
And as far as I could tell I had this problem even before all warez-troubles I caused, so I blamed it on nasty stock rom (I9300XXUGMJ9_I9300VFGGMJ5_I9300BUUGMJ3_HOME.tar.md5)*. After a week or so I decided today to re-Odin this firmware once more. Luckily, this rom keeps all apps and home screens intact. Now, the lockscreen lag has become even less. BUT I (sometimes) still have stuttering voices when AutomateIT Pro (4.0.72) needs to tell me something. Voices continues normally as soon as I the screen is unlocked. I can live with that
4. random crash & reboots went back to "normal" - must be firmware problem. Sometimes the Samsung logo will stutter too - it's a nasty bug, hidden deep within ;p
5. non-responding phone / black screen. Only unplugging the battery (and waiting 30 seconds!) would solve this. Problem largely solved. They computers in the end ; -)
6. crash & burn. Sometimes 5. above would be combined with a massive battery drain. Say 10s of procents in half an hour! That seems to have been solved - I did not see this appear anymore.
I now made another Nandroid backup and am going to try this firmware: I9300XXUGMK6_I9300OXAGMK6_OXA.zip (FROM:
http://android.sc/update-galaxy-s3-i9300-to-official-android-4-3-xxugmk6-jelly-bean-firmware/). Hopefully the (still not officially confirmed) i9300 roll-out bugs are then finally solved
For now, I consider my problems solved, largely by just running many antivirus apps! Lesson learned; no one antivirus solution on android is "perfect". They are only lucky on certain test sets...
I'll update about the certificate error once more - say in a week?

How to root Samsung Galaxy siii s3 i9300 international with 4.3 (stock) firmware? I only found one working solution: flashing with Odin! I used CF-Auto-Root-m0-m0xx-gti9300.zip (SOURCE: http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/galaxys3-i9300-root-android43-jellybean-update-howto-521949). This rooting worked on both my 4.3 firmwares... [/s]
These rooting instructions actually make your phone unstable! Updated instructions:
