Signup for an account at http://e.mail.ru/signup?from=login&lang=en_US

Open URL: http://cloud.mail.ru/promo/ (page in russian - translate to english with google chrome if you want).

Click on Get Button. (big black button located at bottom centre of page)

Download their cloud app on windows/linux/mobile device to get upgraded to 1024 GB.
I know its not smart to upload sensitive personal data to a foreign website but mail.ru is a leading website in russia and i think this service can be useful to store music, videos and other collections to access conveniently from anywhere .

Once app is installed and logged in, automatically, I get 1TB.

Smells fishy - wiki or not. Why first demanding access to everyones phone before upgrading? I'm not so convinced yet - big powers at play in Russia

Anyways, despite me [solving]  the unusual google account activities (http://scforum.info/index.php/topic,8613.0.html) and not receiving any warnings anymore from google, still importing mail keeps being blocked for e.mail.ru. Not authorized, mail.ru says.

ALSO worth mentioning is that mail.ru has 2 mode of operandi:
- the GUI acts as a shell to your accounts and lables/folders with a switching feature. You have to enter credentials and you can switch mail.ru's GUI to the mail from gmail, outlook, ...
- mail.ru is allowed to import emails to it's own account. This is what keeps getting blocked behind the screens by google.

In this case I will trust Google above Putin ;p

There Are Other RUSSIAN Companies Like YANDEX - They Are Trying To Copy All GOOGLE Services.

The Good Thing Is, You Do Not Need CHROME To Translate Their Pages, Because There Is An ENGLISH Version.
