Topic: Mcafee 8.7i Required hot fix for eng5700 update

Hey guys if you solve the problem, please post the hotfix here for download.
I need this too for upgrade the scan engine from 5600 to 5700.

Metalmunna i think the download paches list for VSE 8.7i that you published here, did not have the needed hotfix because that list is particular for an specific user. And also maybe for your user is not available that hotfix, because your account have a grant number for mcafee product that not in accordance for the need of this hotfix.
Hope this is the reason and we need another way to find that hotfix.

No, that's not. i have access of whole security application of McAfee! nothing left. A to Z. it's not available on the GRANT, i checked by different GRANT number, but nothing yet! as soon available i will let you know. they never release something for selected user only. whatever ... please wait till Samker back online and check the file before publishing, Just wait ...

right now no ePO near me! but i can't understand if they really release it then why will not come to the all subscribers? i have checked by different subscription but the result is same! nothing yet. anybody have the idea of release date?

Release schedule for the 5700 Engine is currently as follows:

    Beta on 6th May 2014
    Release Candidate (RC) on 26th Aug 2014
    RTW (Elective Download) end of Sept 2014
    RTW (Auto Update) in Jan 2015
    5600 Engine End Of Life (EOL) 31st Mar 2015

PS: Somebody have any ideea if RC Scan engine 5700 will be the same with RTW 5700.
I see atached to previous link RC Sdat 5700. As far as i know Sdat package include all required instalation maybe without need for hotfix.

RC is like post-beta, but still beta.. so I wouldn't reccomend for productions systems :p

Hotfix 982564 (VSE870HF982564.Zip) was never actually released, and isn't really required to successfully upgrade from 5600 to 5700, regardless of what McAfee said in the release notes ??

still nothing! i have checked now and almost everyday i take a look if something new or any update.
