Hey guys, have you heard about Meta’s new app that will compete with Twitter? It’s called Threads and it looks awesome. It’s like Instagram but for text-based posts. You can follow your favorite celebrities, creators, and public figures, and interact with them on a platform that is sanely run, reliable, and safe. Plus, you can take your account and followers with you to other apps that support ActivityPub, like Mastodon. How cool is that? I can’t wait to try it out when it launches next year.
