THE CEBIT MESSE IN Hangover was marked with 12 and 16 GB CompactFlash and 8 GB SecureDigital cards, but as the time passes by, these cards are falling down in price and time for new highest capacity is coming.
During our press briefing over at the Kingmax booth, the lass called Vera showed us a SDHC (Secure Digital-High Capacity) card with no less than non-formatted capacity of 16GB.
Even though this is not the first time we are hearing about 16GB SD cards, it is somewhat cool to see that a cellphone could easily have 16GB storage for pictures, video and multimedia. But, this stick will be mostly used with digital cameras, and with 16GB of storage, you can expect that hours and hours of video will happily fit
Since the card is ready for mass production, we are expecting that these babies will start to appear in stores worldwide rather sooner than later. And of course, it is pretty normal to expect that the prices of lower-capacity storage will continue to crash down and put gigabytes of data in the hands of people
